Programs and posters for the InterCultural Center, at Sonoma State

My student job was to make programs, posters and flyers for the ICC and the Student Union. But soon, everybody from various departments was asking me to make flyers and huge 8-10 foot banners on butcher paper draped across the stairwells and as backdrops for performers  so I never had much time to think, let alone, develop ideas. I practically had to shake the information out of people. Who why what when where how much. I was not allowed to have an "off" day. Art on demand. Also, at $2.10 an hour, I was cheaper than hiring a typesetter. My calligraphed banners were hanging all over campus. I created an industry. I designed banners and backdrops for James Burke, Daniel Berrigan (a huge rainbow peace symbol) Pete Seeger, etc. (sorry no copies of them).
